We are diverse. We are mission driven.
We are family. We are committed to Christ.

 The Final Countdown

October 17 is just around the corner and Lord’s Acre Weekend begins!!

We kick-off with a reception in Wooton Hall that starts at 5:30 p.m. and includes a nacho bar and dessert bar. We’re not talking about cheese whiz and jalapenos! (Nacho typical nacho bar!) You’ll enjoy a wide variety of ingredients: choose to your taste! Next the sweets – your mouth will water as you select from a variety of yummy desserts. Remember that calories eaten at church don’t count!!

Next, waddle on down to the sanctuary to view Martin Showcase. Here you will find Martin members who have been cuffed, volunteered to showcase their talents. Who? What? Well, you’ll just have to come and see! Guaranteed to be fun!

And finally, is the Misinale which, for our Tongan families, celebrates financial giving as a deep expression of missional faith. What you will see is faith and personal sacrifice in action as Tongan families publicly pledge their giving. You will see cultural dances including showering the dancers with dollar bills, which goes to their pledge.  So come armed with dollar bills and join the celebration of giving!  You will walk away humbled at the generosity of our Tongan families and probably want to examine your own heart about what you can give.

That’s a lot of fun stuffed into one evening! Two weeks and 3 days to go. Can’t wait!!
