Lord’s Acre Countdown:

30 Days

Lord’s Acre has many components and as our annual fundraiser we need everyone to participate in some way. Maybe you have enough ‘stuff’ in your home, don’t need to eat baked goods or casseroles, too old for children’s games (never)! Whatever, your situation may be, one way you can participate in Lord’s Acre is through sponsorship donations. These funds help defray costs of Lord’s Acre events. If you would like to provide a sponsorship donation for Lord’s Acre, please contact Garry Hamilton at 817-980-6301.

Lunch tickets and Friday Night Missions Concert tickets will be available for purchase beginning Sunday, September 24. In person sales for lunch tickets will begin October 8^th in Wooton Hall.

When you are out buying pumpkins for your fall decorating, pick up a few extras to donate to Lord’s Acre. We need small ones for kids’ games and medium/large ones for decorating. You can bring them to the Lord’s Acre table in Wooton Hall.

This Sunday, September 24, will be “Donation Commitment Sunday” and we are asking each of you to let us know what you intend to donate to help make this year’s event a success. The forms will be in your bulletins or you can find them on the Lord’s Acre table in Wooton Hall.  

HELP NEEDED!

Remember that saying, “Your mama don’t work here”, well we need some help cleaning/organizing our kitchens. Men and women welcome. We are going to give both kitchens a spring cleaning and organize them so they better serve those that use the kitchens for various events. If you can help for an hour or all day, please join us Monday, September 25^th and Tuesday, September 26^th. We will work from 9:00 – 4:00. Please help us, we need to keep our buildings clean and organized and it takes all of us working together.  

If you are able to help please sign up in Wooton Hall at the Women’s Ministry table this Sunday or just show up. Please come help!
