Our Tongan Service begins at 2 p.m. No Tongan service on 1st and 5th Sundays.

Where do I park?

Our parking is located on the North side of our facility (or around back!). We have several visitor spots (marked with signage) on the front row next to the covered walkway. We also have handicapped parking on the East side of the building as well as “around back.”

What do I wear?

Everybody is welcome at Martin United Methodist Church regardless of dress. Expect to see every brand and style of clothing – the choice is yours.

Is there anything for my kids to do?

Children are always welcome in services! Or, if you prefer, nursery care is available for kids age 2 and under. We have Sunday School classes for all children at 9:45 a.m. in the Tom Vastine Building. Kids will have fun while learning about God and Jesus at Martin.  For more children’s activities visit our Children’s Ministry page.

Can I receive communion if I am not a member?

Yes, everyone is invited and welcome to receive communion.  Communion is a gift from God and is given freely to all regardless of denomination or membership.

What if I've never been to church before?

Welcome! You are invited to come as you are, and attend worship, Sunday School, or whichever activity fits you.  Martin UMC is a congregation of open, loving people who want to share the love and community of God with all.  Feel free to ask questions.

What do we believe?

Martin UMC is part of The United Methodist Church, an 11-million-strong global church that opens hearts, opens doors, and opens minds through active engagement with our world.

John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, and on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as “practical divinity” has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today. We invite you to learn more about our rich theological heritage here.
